Hi Everyone!

I'm putting this very simple, and basic site to keep  you guys updated on upcoming Key Club events, to put a few helpful links up, and to give u an online way to access the Key Club newsletter, that will hopefully come out soon. My name is Seema Ullal, I'm a sophomore, and the current Key Club secreatary. If you haveany comments/suggestions or want to help with the site, email me at shadowlover81@yahoo.com , IM me on AIM sn ilovdetangler, Yahoo sn shadowlover81, or talk to me at a Key Club Meeting or any time at school.

Hope you have an awesome school year (despite all that homework!), and a great time being part of Key Club.

Looking forward to a wonderful year with all of you,

Seema

Current News/Updates...

Thank you to everyone who helped at the Rose Parade. It was early and wet when we got there, and some of the work wasn't the most fun. Still, almost everyone had a good time, and we helped quite a bit. Look for the Honda float (the one most Key Clubers worked) at the Rose parade. It's about 207 feet long and hard to miss!

SOS (Save Old Spectacles) is still looking for every member to bring in  at least 3 (more would be great!) Also, if you could donate boxes so we can distribute them throughout the community for glasses collection, that would be wonderful. Boxes around the size of a shoe box or bigger would be best. If youa re interested in helping out with the collection/counting of glasses and publicity of this project, please join the SOS community whcih meets every other Tuesday in front of Mr. Helmuth's room (across/in front  of the P.E. tennis courts.) On Tuesday, November 30 they will meet in the CCC at lunch to count glasses. Please help if it is possible.

Our Key Club is still looking for spare change for UNICEF so keep collecting, and try to bring it in soon. We are also collecting Pop tops (from soda cans) for the Ronald McDonald House for Cancer Patients. Children books for less privileged children are still being collected so if you have any old books lying around, bring them in. Another project that will be going on throughout the year is collecting toiletaries (shampoo, soap, etc.). The small sizes you get in hotels is good for thsi, so next time you or someone you know travels, bring some back.

Lastly, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate, so please donate a toy if you can. These kids may not receive anything for the holidays otherwise, and it lights up their entire life when you donate something seemingly trivial.

Please also remember that convention is fast approaching. It is form March 17-19 in Long Beach. It is realy a great experience so please think about coming, and if you have questions or concerns talk to Melody, Mrs. Brotherthan, or any of the members who have attended prior conventions.
